Valve announces Portal 2

Anybody that’s been following Valve’s latest shenanigans surrounding Portal, will be well aware that Valve had something up their sleeve. PC gamers around the world were frantically rummaging through the update that Valve released earlier this week in the hope that they could uncover the secrets.

The clues all seemed to point to Portal 2, and in the last hour, Valve have issued a press release to confirm our guesses. Portal 2 will indeed be coming to our PCs  sometime this holiday season. That’s about all the information there is right now, rest assured that we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything more.

Excited? Or disappointed that the announcement doesn’t involve HL2: Episode 3?

   Wooot.

   Yes, I’m excited about this! I don’t care much for HL2 to be honest Although I do play HL.

   I was hoping for both in a orange box 2 with CS2 but I’ll take a slice of any thing that is served with cake!!!

   fuck yea ! loved the first one, this one is going to be awesome! i keep thinking that portal is go into half life, because the ship in the ice at the end of hl2 ep2 it has Aperture on the side of the crates

   Maybe they are testing out ideas for HL2Ep3 because if the other player was alex then it could have co-op portal fun!!!!
