Diablo III: Changes to Skill and Rune System Detailed

Anyone who’s played or read about the current closed beta for Blizzard’s upcoming Diablo III will have immediately noticed that, despite the game sticking very closely to its roots as far as gameplay goes, there has been a massive change to the way in which the skill system works. Blizzard have done away with the old skill-tree system from Diablo II, instead offering players the ability to choose any skill they wish (providing they are of the appropriate level), in a bid to grant more freedom and customisation.
