Grid 2 Multiplayer Trailer

Last week, Codemasters held a live stream on Twitch.tv that took us through some of the game’s multiplayer features. Racenet is the core of it all, and it acts kind of like an advanced version of EA’s Autolog, I guess; Managing your friends, allowing you to compete via leaderboards, set players as your rivals, and

Codemasters have just announced the GRID 2 release date. The sequel to my personal favourite racing game of all time will officially release in the UK (may differ by a few days in other regions) on the very last day of May this year — that’s May 31st, 2013, if you’re one of those annoying

F1 Race Stars: New Gameplay Trailer

Say what you want about Codemasters’ decision to go down this route with the Formula One license, but I think it looks damn fun — and will hopefully be a whole lot more skill-based than some similar titles, including the power-up luck-out that is Mario Kart. Either way, here’s the latest trailer that shows off a bit

F1 2011: A Slow-mo Launch Trailer

Today is the day that F1 2011 goes on sale. In America that’s the case, at least. Us Brits have to wait a few more days until we can get our driving gloves on it. Either way, as is usually the case on the launch date of a new game, there’s a launch trailer to accompany it. This one attempts to showcase just how good of a job Codemasters have done with the realism in F1 2011, by showing us all manner of physics-based maneuvers in super slow-motion

Safety Car’s Here: F1 2011 Developer Diary

Here’s a new developer diary video for F1 2011. In it, we get to see the inclusion of the safety and some of the team from Codemasters Birmingham explain just what a difference it can make if it appears mid-race, describing it as a ‘wildcard’. We also get a look at some of the new features that have been added in to comply with the current Formula One season, such as DRS, KERS and the new Pirelli tyres.

F1 2011 to Contain Co-op Championship Mode

Alright, so online co-operative gaming is becoming more and more mainstream, with almost every release trying to squeeze in a co-op mode somewhere. But, one of the last games I’d have thought we’d see get such a mode is a racing game, particularly of the Formula One varitey — but a press release has confirmed that F1 2011 will contain such a mode, and it actually sounds rather interesting
