Space Marine: Free Exterminatus Co-op DLC Dated

I had a whale of a time playing Space Marine the other week, as can be seen by anyone that’s read my review here on Ironhammers. But, I’ve been desperately awaiting the co-operative mode that was announced to before release, to be later added in as DLC. In Relic’s Dawn of War 2 they implied a similar tactic — and it fast became my favourite part of the the game. For this DLC, it was to come much sooner after release. Relic said October, and they didn’t lie.

Crytek’s Next Venture? A Sequel to Homefront!

I’m yet to finish Homefront. Suprising, I know, considering that the biggest complaint it received at launch was related to the length of its campaign. However, what I have played was rather enjoyable. It’s perhaps no surprise, then, that THQ have just announced a sequel to the game s in the works. What is a surprise, though, is who they’ve partnered up with to bring it to us. And that’s FPS specialists, Crytek.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine PC Review

Anybody who’s at least taken the most fleeting of glimpses at the world of Warhammer 40,000 will have likely seen any one of the many Space Marine factions and thought, “they look pretty darn cool!” The more nerdy ones of us, like me, will have imagined donning their armour getting to grips with the basics of using a ‘chainsword’. While I’m by no means up on the lore of this universe — most of my knowledge comes from the Dawn of War games — I know enough to realise that these Space Marine guys are pretty bad-ass. But how does this portray into a video game that’s not of the RTS variety
